The Ohio Association of Scholars will host its next meeting on Friday, April 25, at 3:00PM at the Faculty Club of Ohio State University in Columbus.

Ashley Thorne, the Director for the Center for the Study of the Curriculum, will speak about campus reactions to bias incidents at Oberlin and at other colleges. Her lecture is based on her forthcoming article, “Staged Emergencies: How Colleges React to Bias Incidents” in Academic Questions (March 2014, Volume 27, Issue 1, pp 28-47).

The lecture will take place at 3:00PM in the afternoon, and an evening dinner will follow.
