Membership for Undergraduate Associates
Now Open to Undergraduate Students
Ever feel like you just can’t take any more fluff about diversity, multiculturalism, and social justice advocacy? Ever wonder why college doesn’t sustain debate rather than silence it? Ever hold your tongue for fear of the political correct police?
You’ve come to the right place. NAS is now admitting undergraduate student associates.
NAS realizes that the pursuit of intellectual diversity and freedom in America’s colleges takes more than just defending the right ideas – it takes people working together, defending the right ideas. We need undergrads to be our eyes on each campus, watchful and objective, to hold the establishment accountable to a higher standard than it holds for itself.
Why become a student associate?
- Receive our journal Academic Questions
- Get invited to local gatherings (at the discretion of our affiliate leaders)
- Gain the NAS community and network, and the encouragement of knowing you are not alone in your convictions.
Is This Dangerous?
As you hasten to join, be forewarned: associating yourself with NAS can be risky. We recognize that some among your classmates and faculty may frown on NAS because of the stands it takes. We won’t broadcast that you’re with us, but you’re free to tell whomever you wish.
Get Connected
NAS has created a Facebook group, so that you can find others on your campus and around the country who share your views. The group is listed as secret, so you need an invitation to join it. Send us an email with your Facebook name if you would like to join the NAS group.
