Peter Wood Discusses Threats to Academic Freedom on Fox and Friends

On Monday, February 12, NAS President Peter Wood appeared live on Fox and Friends to discuss our report, Charting Academic Freedom: 103 Years of Debate. Our report, which analyzes fourteen prominent, published statements on academic freedom via twenty-five categories, documents in detail how the source of danger to academic freedom no longer comes from outside of the university. Rather, the real danger to academic and intellectual freedom now stems from the faculty and their indoctrinated students. 

Charting Academic Freedom is available to download for free for anyone interested in learning about the path of academic freedom, from 1915 and the first official published statement, to today's statements.
