Peter Wood to Speak on Common Core State Standards at The Heartland Institute

NAS president Peter Wood will speak on his book, Drilling Through the Coreat The Heartland Institute on April 6. The event will take place from 5:30 PM to 8 PM, with Wood's lecture beginning at 6:15 PM. Following his lecture, there will be a Q&A session and a book signing. 

In Drilling Through the Core, Wood explores how Common Core has changed the state of education, whether it is even lawfully permissable and how it is rooted in the spending of affluent donors. Wood's book offers compelling arguments against Common Core and the havoc it is wreaking on education.
