The Survival of Hillsdale's Teacher Preparation Program

George Leef

Several years ago, a policy change in Michigan put the future of Hillsdale College's teacher preparation program in jeopardy. They decided to continue, revamping their program to improve it and aiming at the market for teachers in schools that don't have to bow to government certification requirements. In today's Pope Center Clarion Call, Professor Daniel Coupland explains what Hillsdale has done and how things are working out.
